About twice monthly, I write a column for my local newspaper, The Berkshire Eagle — a paper I also design and copy edit as a fulltime page designer/copy editor for its parent company, New England Newspapers Inc.
I don’t usually share these on this site, as in my newspaper columns I usually write about general news topics, such as foster care (I’m adopted, and was in the foster care system for years), COVID-19, the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (a local college that is my alma mater), and things like local public transit, local walkability and municipal issues like my city’s plastic bag ban and prospective trash removal policies.
But I most recently wrote about the need to support local movie theaters and how, if we don’t support them as they emerge into a world where the coronavirus’s influence is waning, we might stand to lose them.

Going forward, I hope to get a review up soon for the premier of “Loki” and this week’s episode of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch.”
